"Are You Talkin' To Me?"

The Frenchies were both barking loudly early this morning at something outside the window.
I arrived with camera in hand as their excitement had to be an unusual critter of some kind.
I found a gray squirrel was having a bit of fun teasing them from the fence top just outside.
The Frenchies ran helter-skelter to the back of the house to lay in wait for the squirrel to make its getaway across the back yard fence.
I told the squirrel, "The fun is over; it's time you left."
He gave me a "You talkin' to me?" look for a long moment, then sauntered off down the fence.
He is cheeky fellow.
