Hello Chelmsford

Graham and I left home at 06.30 (Turkey time) for the 75 minute journey to Izmir airport, for our flight to Stansted where we eventually arrived at 13.00 (UK time). Graham's going 'home' to Colchester and of course, I'm back in Chelmsford where I finally walked through my front door around 15.00. Not the quickest of journeys but at least it was uneventful. I am 'home' for a ten day holiday till 21st and so of course, first night's dinner was with bro at the Fox and Raven - only to discover it'll also be my last dinner there for quite a while as they close this week for several months refurbishment!  Gareth and I are officially, even if temporarily,  'local pub less' - there is no other that's just a walk away. Calamity!
