Somehow my heart just wasn't in it.

Today I popped up to Leeds to attend a conference. I was supposed to be in the audience but ended up co-presenting one of the sessions. as one of the "elder statesmen" of the profession.

It was good to be out and about and talking to people, or at least at them.
Leeds is where my father's family has its roots. Most of my great-grandfather's relatives lived within a mile of this photo. It probably doesn't show the bright modern side of the city, but it does show the DR of the Q2.  Much of the shadow detail here I couldn't see with the naked eye.
