Waterwheel

The water wheel on the Avon River was originally used to power the flour mill. the original wheel was built in 1859 - this has been either remade or heavily restored it seems to me. The little island had a flour mill on it, and when that was removed the island was planted with camellias and rhododendrons etc, some of which are still there.
