Gypsy dreams

Helping you through tough times.
Went to a talk at the Palace Theatre this morning about Greenway which we visited yesterday. I passed this duo on the way to Paignton Library. It is the Agatha Christie festival this week, celebrating her birthday.
Jacqui went on a memorial walk from Powderham in memory of her friend Jenny, who shared her love of wildlife and birds in particular. After the talk I went to the museum to collect Museum Society Lecture programmes to distribute.
On the way back she stopped in Torquay to have another look for the hoopoe. Still not showing. Thinking about the allotment last night, and it’s suitability for a rare bird, we realised that ironically, most of the plots had bird scarers of some description. The talk tonight at the Paignton Heritage Society, was by a local fiction writer, Helena Dixon, and was about her murder mystery books, and the research involved in using Devon places as settings. Published by Bookoutre she is contracted to write four books a year. How do you do that? Two talks in one day, and two royal silences.
