Backlit Surfer

I apologize for the nonstop surfing photos but it is not every day one has some of the best surfers in the world right next door. Today, I didn't head down to the pier until late afternoon when the sun was behind the waves. A very different shooting experience and dramatically different photos. The competition starts tomorrow but I will be otherwise occupied so there is a good chance I will have a non-surfing image (or maybe nothing at all).
