Shield Bug

I had hoped for a decent sunset tonight, as I was otherwise Blipless.  However, who should walk out of the blackberries I was tipping into a saucepan but this shield bug.
Assuming that it had not suffocated overnight, I let it go in the garden and proceeded with cooking the fruit.
