Cheating

The small window boxes outside the bedroom windows drive me mad as they are under a deep overhang and never get rained on and I'm always forgetting to water them. Anyway it's a right fiddle taking the watering can up to the bathroom and then worrying about the effect of the dripping water on the paint on the sill. Year after year I've planted geraniums or petunias and they've lasted about a month. So this year I've cheated. I'm not sure about these Sunflowers. They're made of material. But at least I won't have to water them.
