Celebration

Enjoyed a lovely day with walking friends to celebrate Layne’s completion of the Munros (the 282 Scottish Mountains over 3000 feet). We climbed Win Hill near Sheffield a mere 1516 feet, but a first for me, and an ‘Ethel’. https://peakdistrictwalks.net/peak-district-ethels-list/
Beautiful views over the Peak District and a surprise highlight for me was looking down on the cement factory which reminds me of a fairly tale castle. The extra shows why, taken some time ago from the Edale side on an early morning walk. Delicious meal at The Plough after - we were all rosy cheeked! Well done Layne!
