Autumnal

SATURDAY

After yesterday's summery weather, today was cool and grey with a distinct autumnal feel.

We headed to the Bankfield Surgery late morning for our winter flu vaccination. When we arrived the queue stretched through the surgery and across the car park. Apparently one of the clinicians had failed to show earlier, but we were assured that things had now speeded up.

My left arm was still a bit tender from Wednesday's Covid shot so I opted to have the needle in my right arm. I was expecting a locus, but it was delivered by my own G.P.

I gave the lawns a mow this afternoon. My 17 year old electric Flymo gave up the ghost last week so I had to use the petrol mower.
