Duxford

Up and away early this morning; today is a boys' day out, but we girls are invited too.  Bob was keen to go to the Imperial War Museum Duxford, and Dave was keen to take him.  I was a bit less enthusiastic, but in actual fact Dave was so knowledgeable and was able to give us so much information that I enjoyed the visit.

There are literally hundreds of aircraft in several different hangers around the huge property, and a special one delegated to the Battle of Britain, which was the one I found most interesting.   Also quite a few being flown over the airfield, and interesting to identify with Dave's help of course.

They had a nice cafe too, and we had some lunch there, always important.

Had a wee look around Helen's garden when we came home, and couldn't resist the extra.
