Memory lane

I was flitting through my old catalogues when i came across this, from a couple of years ago. One of our black bees i managed to photograph, cleaning honey from a piece of discarded wax . I should say wax scraped off the top bars, whilst carrying out an inspection.
They were a feral colony, we caught in a bait hive. Now sadly gone.
