I've had my eye on this small tree

... since I first saw it covered in fruit in the middle of winter (24 January 2022 - in extra).  It's growing in Wortley Hall grounds - near the walled garden.   I've just been looking up prices online - they vary, but a single whip from a reliable source will set me back £70 and a more developed one would be over £200.  I did find ones cheaper than £70, my guess is that they will be very small.  Maybe I'll ask at our local garden centre that deals in trees. 

Some more sorting of photographic prints in the morning.  I have to confess that my cull has only resulted in the loss of a few.  (Must try harder.)
