Ardwell

I’d had a horribly sleepless night but had arranged to go to catch up with my friend at Gatehouse today. I almost felt too rough to go but it’s been ages since my last visit https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2937491856960786253
I called in briefly to touch base with P at Ardwell first and then went on to Gatehouse and we went for a lovely walk from Newton Stewart to Knockman Woods which was full of some varied and interesting archeology - extra of an old settlement and corn drying kilns with Cairnsmore in the distance. We saw a scampering red squirrel and a great view of a diving kingfisher in the Cree.

Home to an escalating text war with the old landlord. Not pleasant and pretty upsetting.
