There is always hope...

With a friend, spent an hour this morning enjoying the peace and quiet of the Sanctuary Garden on the banks of the River Chew, painting pebbles and enjoying the birdsong and a fleeting glimpse of a passing Kingfisher. A very welcome hour of tranquility...

Due to changes in the regs made by the CQC, much to their frustration, hospice carers are no longer allowed to administer meds, even simple paracetamols. So even though we had an overnight carer, I still had a broken night’s sleep as the carer had no choice but to wake me at 5.30am to come down and give mum pain relief. Back to sleeping on the settee tonight...

Thank you so much for all your kind stars and hearts.
