Had to travel to Birmingham today for a meeting. I was intending to stay over and come back home the next day but the train strike put an end to that idea so had to do the whole thing in one day. More than four hours each way. This was Victoria, waiting for the next train and wishing there was something decent to eat there. There wasn’t, so just got on the train and had a quick snack when I got in. Don’t want too many days like that.
