Apple Jelly

Yesterday I began the process of making Apple Jelly by boiling Apples, then letting them drain overnight.
Today I continued with making the Jelly/Jam, it seemed to go very well, but I believe I should have used Jam Sugar rather than granulated as the Jam didn't wrinkle, but I put the Jelly into jars, now I hope it sets, if not I'm wondering if I should add Pectin after pouring the jelly into the jam making pot & heating, I hope that'll work.
I'll see in the morning.
