Swans

This morning we took our Australian visitors to the local walk round Birnie and Gadden Lochs - another of our favourites. The swans spied us from the far side of the loch and headed across to see us in the hope of being fed. It was good to see that 5 of this years cygnets have survived and when we got round to the other loch there were 7 youngsters with the other pair. 

M and N left after lunch and headed for the airport to fly back to London. We will be keeping in contact and look forward to seeing them again in Australia next August.
