Blue skies over the Muirton Basin

The Muirton Basin is an anchorage towards the end of the Caledonian Canal in Inverness. It was designed  in the 19th centuary for fishing boats, but my understanding is that it never quite took off. Still looks nice and lots of seabirds seem to like it. My walk was so exhausting that I had to be revived in the Clachnaharry Inn.
