Borderlines Book Festival day 2

The first of our full days at the festival. As you can see we had glorious sunshine. The blip shows the Dixon Chimney in Carlisle. I like this view!
We saw 3 authors today.
Ian Francis +2, who had written about the geology of the Lake District with some fabulous photos Then a guy who had written about 36 islands in the lakes, a number that changes with the depth of the lakes, with heavy references to Swallows and Amazons. Our final event on Authenticity about what is authentic and how we can delude ourselves , to insects that mimic poisons insects. A fascinating book that I will get in audio. A good day.
