strange beach monster

It was fantastic to finally get out on to the beach again tonight after what seems like ages. It was breezy and cool and cloudy but still brilliant, and I had it all to myself.
This amazing piece of driftwood looked like a crouching alsatian from a distance and had my dogs really puzzled for a while. Comical.
