Great Blue Heron

I encountered several bird species while walking on the boardwalk in Crosswinds Marsh. There were Turkey Vultures, Mute Swans, Canada Geese, Mallard Ducks, Sandhill Cranes, and one Great Blue Heron. The heron was the only bird that was close enough to the trail for any hope of a successful photograph. I managed to get this image while it was hunting for fish in the shallow water.
