Friends, food, and fun

Big Rs good friend Nancy and her partner Josie came over for a delicious meal put on by R. Nancy is vegetarian so he made sweet potato, black bean and squash enchiladas , a green salad with candied pecans and pears and an apple sour cream pie.
Both Nancy and Josie worked with R as public defenders , but Josie was appointed to a judgeship in superior court this past year . R works at another agency that represents juveniles and Nancy is a supervisor in the felony unit R used to work in . Nancy is on the right and Josie on the left with R holding his prize pie in the middle. ;)
It was a fun evening of chatter , good food and good friends — lots of laughter too.
