Towards Cape Town

Rain has fallen in Cape Town and even snow on the mountains at Ceres and Worcester.

Only 4 hours drive away, and all we get are the lovely promising clouds and virtually not a drop of rain ....

Today we had bergwind (29 C) conditions with very strong storm winds .. there is really not a place to be found without leaves, leaves, leaves ... if only I had one Rand for every leaf ....

This image is downtown George on the western side showing the mountain range going off in the direction of Cape Town. With all the dust in the air, there was a magnificent sunset - but by then I had left old trustworthy at home. Stupid.
