The Day After ...

...a most enjoyable evening at the Giggling Squid - see extra.  I had a stroll around Warwick Market Square before heading back to the 'Broad Acres'.
This rather unusual metallic sculpture of a Heron caught my eye.  It's outside the Shire Hall in Warwick's Market Place. I discovered the sculpture was made in 2000 by Rachel Higgins.
My journey home was one of the worst I have ever experienced.  I joined the M1 at Leicester Forest and drove through very heavy rain and very poor visibility all the way north.  I left the M1 at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park turn off and drove home across country - just to give my eyes a rest.  Back home now after having had an excellent, but long overdue, reunion :-)
