A walk with my Ramblers group from Birchover included the Nine Ladies Standing Stones, where what appeared to be a Druid ceremony was taking place, Robin Hood's Stride, Cratcliffe Tor and last but not least Rowtor Rocks, where some sort of ceremony was also taking place and where the photo was taken. I wonder if the ceremonies were to do with the Samhain Festival held at this time of the year, although when we asked the participants at Rowtor Rocks they said it was an initiation ceremony, so we're none the wiser.
