Top bus-iness

another rail strike, but a curry night out to get to, led me to my using the local bus service for the first time since I moved to this location. 
I felt a bit ashamed, when I ascended to a completely empty top deck, and was comfortably and swiftly trundled to my destination in about 20 minutes.
How often do I unthinkingly use the car for short hops like this, or why do I always opt for the train? I suppose a more frequent  service, having fewer stops so faster, more room etc, but all very minor. I’m needing to change my ways a bit, and I guess if we don’t use it, we lose it, and have ourselves to blame.

But if you like a really top Decker….;-)
