A daffodil is not a tulip

The title is inspired by the Scottish artist George Wyllie's comment that "a burd is not a stone". With today's sunshine the tulip is like a large, red and yellow plate but I thought I had blipped that flower often enough.

As the tulips bloom the daffodils are coming to the end of their cycle but despite their lateness they did provide a much needed splash of colour. The blossom is also beginning to appear on the trees and the grass will need cut later in the week.
