Ancient Relics and Woon Gumpus

We started off with a visit to Chysauster, an ancient settlement village near St Just, and we did a bit of wandering amongst the stones.

We had late lunch in our favourite vegetarian/vegan cafe in Penzance and then drove to Woon Gumpus Common. We just had to go there because of the name and because we hadn't been there. We found some more ancient stones and had a hike around the 'common'. It was really windy and pretty cold but it certainly blew any cobwebs away.

The coast road round Zennor to St Ives was exciting and the West Penwith views are rugged and exhilarating and exactly the views of Cornwall that we love so much.

We are having a bit of dodgy internet troubles, so I will be remaining quiet.
