Tiny Tuesday - Technology

I have made a collage of the different stages that technology gives me the outcome I want to achieve.   The technology itself, the cutting machine, is not small but it allows me to cut very tiny intricate pieces that would take ages to cut by hand.
I have chosen small butterfly dies as an example.  One pass through the machine and these tiny butterflies are cut out, the largest  is 1.5 inches across.
I have really had to put my thinking cap on to find a way of explaining the process.  If you have got to the end, thank you.
