Camera defect

There must be something wrong with my camera. I keep getting this weird blurry, blown-out patch on my photos today. After a bit more investigation, it seems that something must be loose inside as I only get it when holding the camera up. It would also appear that this is a groundbreaking discovery for science - whatever the loose object is, it is defying gravity to show up when raised.
