Been staying with one of my wife's old friends for the last couple of nights and it's been great. Good to get out of town and into the country for a bit. Pity the weather has just been so crap though. Not just this weekend, but the whole of the year so far, anything between 5-10C lower than it should be.

This time of year should be heading for "sweltering" yet we're still using the air con heater occasionally and wearing warm sleeved tops.

So much for global warming.
