Man Made Lake

I stopped beside this man made pond to write up some house inspections and get a blip. It is Yealands Pond just North of Blenheim. I have taken lots of photos here but not for over a year. This is the first time Ive seen swans there, and pukeko. It always used to be just ducks. The aim of the pond is for some beauty and as a place for a variety of waterbirds to live. It is working well.
