Not the Patient

This was chemo day for my friend with pancreatic cancer. She had a very bad few days so her doctor reduced the strength of the chemo formula by 25% to lesson side effects. Another long day of nurses, nutrition counselors and the doctor so we were home pretty late again and now it’s in the dark at that time . She was exhausted and ready for edibles and Her pjs she said. But she held up well and we had good talks. It was the first time the chair for me was a massage one and heated! That was great as it was a cold room. We both were given heated blankets . Her sense of humor is very intact so we had many laughs today . I hope thing calm down for her this next week
