Another Sunday on the river

Good still weather again so headed to the soar to do a little loop. Beautiful morning but the river level was really high. Checked the official river level website and it's above the normal range for the river.

This meant we couldn't do the loop as the river was flowing very fast and there's a low footbridge. So we did a short upstream paddle and then came back much quicker!

We walked to have a look at the footbridge and we made the right decision. There was no way we were going underneath and the speed of the river meant there was no escape from it.
