POORLY GOOSE

I went into a hide at RSPB Saltholme while someone was on the phone reporting that this goose had "dropped out of" a flock that had just taken off and gone over my head. It didn't look at all well, and I suppose with all the current comings and goings and flockings that avian flu is pretty uncontainable, if that's what this one was suffering from.

On a happier note, there was a kingfisher visible from the reception building. My extra is taken on full zoom through the tinted window so is not at all sharp, but I was excited to see it and wanted to record it.
