About ready to leave the house, when I got a call from Jean’s life line alarm. So called a cab which got me there in a few minutes. Jean was on the bedroom floor, very cold. I wrapped her up and gave her a not too hot water bottle. The paramedics arrived at 9, they did all the checks and persuaded Jean that hospital was best to get checked.
Hospital was manically organised with a continuous stream of beds and trolleys and wheelchairs being moved around the bays and corridors of a and E. Hats of to all hospital staff.
Jean has a broken hip. She was in a lot of pain, not surprising.
