Winter flowering jasmine

Another gloomy walk round the village, and today it was very chilly too. I looked out for seasonal cheerfulness, enjoying wreaths on doors and little silvery lights on the small trees which are fixed to the outside of street-facing houses to form the village illuminations. I like the contrast between the jasmine flowers and the dark wood of this ancient, low door leading into one of the oldest houses in the village.

This afternoon J joined the 1Voice Christmas party on Zoom, with me signing for her, and enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting a couple of new families. She also watched more of the Together disability film festival online, and is delighted that her 2021 film Unbound has won the award for best animation.
