Fair to say that Winter has arrived today! Beautiful blue skies and a sharp frost to wake up to this morning and it's not warmed up much since!!

And guess who forgot to empty the bird baths last night?! Great fun was had this morning de-icing all of them, and then a much needed delivery of bird food arrived at the perfect time so I got the feeders all refilled!

Too nice a day to stay indoors - not that I'm trying to ignore the housework,  honest! - so I went for a wander to the local country park and it was deserted, albeit for the resident goats who were on a sunny hillside watching the world go by!  Lovely frosty walk, with not many birds to see but watched a few trains go by!

Now the catching up indoors begins and need to try and unclog the paper shredder too! It wasn't playing ball with my shredding requests the other day
