Christmas mantelpiece

We are in a dismal weather pattern at present - mild, but so grey and overcast - I’ve had the Christmas lights on during the day the last couple of days to cheer myself up - give me cold and sunny any day! Also when the weather’s like this, it doesn’t encourage me to get out and exercise, so apart from swimming yesterday, I haven’t been doing much exercise lately. I got a start on writing the Christmas cards today, but otherwise it was a day for knitting, doing my Duolingo French, playing a few carols on the piano and watching some TV in the evening, so looking around for an indoor blip, I decided on our Christmas mantelpiece!
