Shadow and Relief

I ventured out this morning into the cold cold for a short drone flight, mainly to see if the frost had made any decent patterns of the fields, hedges and trees around and about.  There were some, but I preferred this photo of the hills and valleys in the upper part of the village in the low winter sun.

You can just see our local pub at the left hand edge of the image, about a ⅓rd up from the bottom.

I'm very impressed with this little device: it's light enough to be below the regulations imposed by the CAA (and by most other regulatory bodies) but it can move very fast, has a decent sensor and can take photos in either landscape or portrait (as here).  It is also very quiet, less likely to annoy my neighbours.
