Wellington Hill Woodland Trail

I was supporting my wife and daughter at an event in Taunton today but I managed to sneak off for an hour and headed for Wellington Monument in the Blackdown Hills, Somerset.

While I did get some decent shots of the monument, I followed a woodland trail briefly and was drawn to the pattern of tree roots and the overhanging branches.
