Cold but bright

It looked so inviting sat in the conservatory. a warm 2o degrees. 
The birds however, were busy as ever, consuming more calories than their fragile bodies could afford.
I was in receipt of a new light tripod for the garden and was itching to try it out. Oh and wheelchair gloves, as cold aluminium was very  unpleasant.
I wheeled out into the cold. down the ramp, the cold instantly slapping my useless body with icy freezing temperatures.
I tried to manoeuvre fast to set up the big lens on my latest tripod but, it was like trying to manoeuvre through treacle. I managed this shot before i retreated into the warmth and safety of the house.
