An old friend

After treacherous weather conditions yesterday, we were up to a balmy 12 degrees today. Definitely no snow now. When I could no longer drive, Mr D sold my car to his niece. I am always sad to see it, but happy it has an owner who loves it.
After they left for home I checked my soup supplies, and decided to make some Cuban black bean soup that I will cook overnight.
Today’s tea is another cold one, but at least it’s warmer now.
