Ingredients for a tomato sauce

... we are having a short family get together today as my son and family travel down to Lou's family (rather them than me), so it seemed like an easy option (at the time) to make a pasta sauce, so this was my first stage. I might regret the idea yet!

I've been thinking about the idea I was playing with yesterday and I'm wondering about trying to work the idea with strips of photographs rather than the whole image.  I quite like the contrasting images displayed on the centre strip of the image, which is largely pale water.  I also want to do something with some Gel-prints or even by simply playing with brusho or watercolour.  It might not come to anything but!
