Saturday 11 May 2013: Quince Flowers

Another busy day, hence the rushed blip and the fact it's a back blip. My better half has now completed her Mission Impossible and we now have a fully insulated living room floor. As the central heating and radiators are all thermostatically controlled we shouldn't feel any warmer but the room should cost less to keep warm - it was already a pretty warm room anyway even though it's the largest room in the house..

The blip is of some red flowers on an ornamental flowering quince (Chaenomeles speciosa) bush that we have in the front garden - I don't think I've even bliped it before and it makes a change to have a flower that's not blue...!
