Another Year, Another Fungus

A nice bright winter day today…and not too cold.

For my walk I ventured into the little woods nearby ..and as expected it was extremely muddy. After sliding around for a while I came across this fungus sprouting on a mossy log. 

The thing that caught my eye was the low sunlight from the side. The sun was moving fast and the light didn’t stay for long!
