last resting place by the sea

It was another satisfying and enjoyable day. The weather is a bit changeable and squally but mainly bright. I worked in the polytunnel and the garden all morning, and this afternoon spent a very pleasant hour and a half with a friend before taking the dogs for a long run on the beach and a clamber about on the rocks.
Afterwards I went exploring and found this tiny old graveyard with the ruined remains of a church. It is at the bottom of a steep hill near Castlehaven which terminates in a little jetty which looks not much used. A most beautiful and peaceful place. Most of the graves are marked with rough uncut stones, only a few had any kind of writing, though some had fresh flowers and are clearly cared for.
