Unfortunately, my plans for today were cancelled as poor Alan isn’t very well and Diane stayed home to look after him. I hope he’s on the mend soon.

I decided to be productive and spent some time this afternoon cleaning the front steps outside. Confetti doesn’t half make a mess and there are little blue dots where some particularly potent stuff has dyed the stone. I went out with my non-bio washing powder and my elbow grease and gave it my best shot.

Then I had a random chatter with another pal and when I said my plans had been cancelled she immediately said ‘ooooh I’ll come over’ and she did and we got smashed! Ha!
