Perhaps The Start Of A New Era

Today's football game was the first in quite a few weeks, following some games called off due to injury and then the Christmas break. This was always going to be a hard game. The opposition had come down from the league above this season, so were used to playing at a high level. They are also a tough team.

I won't go into all the details, but ultimately, the game got abandoned at half time after very vocal arguments and threats were made between adults on the coaching staff of the teams, and it resulted in the boys, yes boys... keeping the adults apart to avoid a fight!

As you can imagine should happen, it has resulted in a change of management within Oliver's team (we don't know what has happened with the opposition team, the manager apparently has a reputation that goes before him). Hopefully a new approach and mindset will come in and change how things have gone over recent games for Oliver's team. To say this was an bewildering day would be a understatement.
